BSE Q4 Results: Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)announced its January to March quarter results on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. The stock exchange firm’s net profits skyrocketed 364 per cent to 493.04 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year, compared to 106.16 crore in the same quarter a year ago, according to the consolidated financial statements.

The company’s revenue from core operations jumped 75 per cent to 847 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25, compared to 484 crore in the same period a year ago. 

BSE final dividend

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, announced a combination of a special dividend and regular dividend for the financial year ended 2024-25. The stock exchange firm announced a special dividend of 5 per share, and a regular dividend of 18 per share of the face value of 2 apiece.

This means that every eligible shareholder is set to receive a final dividend of 23 per share (5 + 18) for every share they own in the company.

“Recommended payment of a special dividend of 5/- to commemorate the 150th year of BSE Limited and a payment of 18/- as a regular dividend resulting into a final dividend of 23/- per equity share of face value of 2 each. This proposal is subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing Twentieth Annual General Meeting of the Company,” said the stock exchange in the NSE filing. 

According to the filing data, the company fixed the final dividend’s “Record Date” on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and the dividend payment is set to be completed on or before Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Earlier on June 14, the company issued a 15 per share dividend, the upcoming final dividend announcement marks the second dividend issue of the financial year 2024-25.

BSE Share Price

BSE shares closed 3.15 per cent lower at 6,250 after Tuesday’s stock market session, compared to 6,453.50 at the previous market close. The company announced its fourth quarter results and dividend announcement after the market operating hours on May 6, 2025. 

BSE shares have given stock market investors more than 4,785 per cent returns on their investment in the last five years and 119 per cent returns in the last one-year period.

On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the stock has gained over 15 per cent in 2025, and 20.60 per cent in the last one-month period.

The shares hit their 52-week high level at 6,808 on April 29, 2025, and are currently trading below their year-high levels. However, the 52-week low level was at 2,115 on July 23, 2024, according to National Stock Exchange data.

The stock exchange firm’s market capitalisation (M-Cap) stands at 84,610.22 crore as of the stock market close on May 6, 2025.
