Eighty-four people were arrested during a Statewide special drive as part of Operation D-Hunt on Tuesday. As many as 1,839 people were checked for narcotics, according to an official release on Wednesday.

As many as 74 cases were registered in connection with the drive. MDMA ( 0.029 g), ganja (15.216 kg), and ganja beedi (56) were seized from the arrested people.
