The Election Commission of India (ECI) has allocated ‘farmer’ symbol to Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), which was designated as a recognised State Party following its performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

The party coordinator Seeman on Saturday made an announcement on X, that the ECI has allocated the ‘farmer’ symbol to the party. The NTK contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections alone but failed to win any seats. However, it secured 8.18% votes, marginally higher than one of the criteria set by the ECI to be recognised as a State Party. The party had contested the last year’s polls in ‘Mike’ symbol.
