A group of ex-servicemen took out a rally in Perambalur on Monday to thank and extend its support to the Indian armed forces for the success of “Operation Sindoor” against Pakistan.

The rally was organised by the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Trust, Perambalur district. Led by trust district secretary R. Ragavan, the ex-servicemen holding national flags and placards and assembled near the municipal office in the town from where they took out a rally to the District Collectorate.

The rally was organised to thank armed forces and extend support to them for “Operation Sindoor” against terror hubs and launch pads in Pakistan in the aftermath of killing of 26 tourists by terrorists at Pahalgam in Kashmir, said Mr. Ragavan.
