The Jharkhand unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday (May 14, 2025) organised a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Ranchi to celebrate the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’ carried out by the Indian armed forces against terror infrastructure in PoK and Pakistan.

Led by Jharkhand BJP chief Babulal Marandi and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, the rally began from Shaheed Chowk in the heart of the State capital.

Holding tricolours, the BJP workers and supporters raised slogans such as ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Armed Forces Zindabad’ and ‘Pakistan Murdabad’. The yatra is scheduled to conclude at Birsa Munda Samadhi Sthal in Kokar, covering a distance of around three km.

“Tiranga Yatra is being taken out across the country to honour the armed forces. We are proud of them,” Mr. Seth said. Other party officials also hailed the courage and determination of the Indian armed forces involved in ‘Operation Sindoor’.
