Working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K.T. Rama Rao has stated that coverts would be there in every political party, and they would get exposed in due course of time and writing letters to the party leadership is also not new.
Referring to the party MLC and his sister K. Kavitha’s letter addressed to party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao indirectly, when asked for reaction by newspersons during a press conference in Hyderabad on Saturday (May 24, 2025), Mr. Rama Rao said there was democracy in BRS and they encouraged open culture as part of which any party leader or activist could write letters to the party president.
Even during the recent (April 27) public meeting of the party near Warangal, several leaders had sent notes suggesting the party president to highlight some issues. The party leadership had received several letters from leaders even during the Parliament elections, he mentioned.
Mr. Rama Rao refrained from speaking elaborately in the matter of Ms. Kavitha’s letter to the party president, stating that it was a feast only to the rival parties and not the public and he was highlighting more important issues than that.
