Soon, Indian foreign secretary Vikram Misri made an official announcement, and revealed that it was facilitated by the Pakistan DGMO contacting his Indian counterpart at 3:35 PM on Saturday afternoon and it was agreed that a ceasefire would begin from 5:00 PM.(PTI)
