Pakistan and India should sit down at the table like peaceful neighbours and settle their outstanding issues, including Kashmir, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday (May 16, 2025) night, as the country observed ‘Youm-e-Tashakur’ (Day of Thanks) to pay homage to the military.
Addressing a special event, Mr. Shehbaz said that India and Pakistan fought three wars and got nothing.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has reached out to senior leaders from the Opposition and the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as the government gets ready to send eight delegations to major countries in Europe, West Asia and Africa, to present India’s point of view on the recent conflict with Pakistan. According to sources, several leaders have accepted the invitation.
