Karnataka MLA warns of Pakistan nationals in twin cities Hubballi, Dharwad

Aravind Bellad, MLA and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, has written to the police commissioner in Hubballi Dharwad, expressing suspicion that some Pakistani national were roaming around suspiciously in the twin cities.

The Deputy Leader of Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly, said he had reports of unknown and suspicious people from various countries, including Pakistan, roaming around in mosques and other places. He sought an investigation in to the matter and legal action against such people.

“I am sure suspicion they are not locals. These new faces belong to unknown and suspicious people. It feels that they are citizens of a foreign country. There is also information that they are living in various slum areas of the twin cities (including Jannat Nagar in Dharwad). Such persons should be questioned and appropriate action should be taken against them. This should be done to prevent unpleasant incidents in the metropolis,” MLA Bellad said.
